What does it mean " I am retired". For me it means I don't come to campus and teach classes anymore. I miss that. But it doesn't mean I don't care about Biology or Genetics or other stuff. It doesn't mean I am not still doing lots of "stuff".
My latest endeavor was to publish a book for kids called:
It aims to teach a skill helpful to budding scientists, artists and well maybe everyone! The book is available on Amazon.com, Barnes andNoble.com and from the publisher: Bookstand Publishing. It has lots of photos, mostly of animals and should be available at the University Bookstore as well!
I am also teaching myself photography - which is quite a challenge. Thank goodness for my dslr. I can delete photos as fast as I take them. I am quite interested in what other retired faculty are doing and what students might like to see us do. Any feedback along those lines will be much appreciated.
Other endeavors to follow...
